so here i go again....Enbridge! The most controversial name I know of in BC. BC Chiefs have made it abundantly clear that there will be no pipeline as far as they are concerned. and I am with them 100%. Enough! Enough with running hog wild over traditional territories yet again. What does it stop?? this pipeline crap affects everyone and all the being both sentient and non sentient for many hundreds of kilometres ....I mean what the hell? Yes 'hell' is the correct word here. I wondered went something would come up that would be a strong enough issue for me to take part in a blockade and this is it..Creator willing I count myself in this time.
Pretender to the Throne (toilet) Christie Clark is bargaining for a bigger piece of the pie. Isn't she special. She wants BC to sell itself for more money...sorta like a Higher Class hooker....fee for services you know.    Or does she think First Nations and ourselves are so stupid that we would fall for that one? Of course if Enbridge backs out then she can claim victory for the people of British Columbia  and gather a couple more votes...NOT this puppy. I am sick of these politicians even thinking of this kind of crap and this is exactly the kind of issue that can become common ground for aboriginal and non-aboriginal people to get together and fight this kind of BS. I encourage non-aboriginals to get together, get to know our aboriginal neighbours. get to know their cultures and ways of being. This is a time to set aside differences and while fighting a common cause to begin to heal together.
Residential Sshools affected all of us...they separated us effectively and brought shame to all Canadians via our historical heritage. That means we Canadians living right now have a duty to begin a healing for ourselves as non-aboriginal Canadians as well. We have become numb and are in denial. Painful as it is we need to face the reality that those who came before us committed horrific acts including genocide and cultural genocide....Wake up! It's right there in the history books!
